About Me

One of God's sheep who has moved to different pastures. Sometimes they seem greener and other times not so green. But my Shepherd is always there for me.

Marme Camp: free mudd baths

Recipe for mud bath. One dirt hill and several digging tools. Water and buckets. Seven Kids. It all equals a really nice mud bath. The mud had a lot of red clay in it so the kids had a great tan for awhile.

More Marme camp

After Day three it all faded into a fog for me. Our schedule was morning pledge and scripture, free time, crafts and board games. We than ate lunch, all had to have rest time. Seems rest time got longer as the days went by. The boys had gun safety in the afternoons and girls a cooking class. Than it was waterplay time. Oh and we than got ready for Vbs.

Camp Marme day 2

Day two of Marme Camp. Setting up camp in the Morning. Becca and Renee got the sleeping rooms up for the kids to have a camping experience. More about that later. The boys had gun safety classes and the girls had a cooking class. I needed to use the mats for VBS so they had to be washed down. Thought it would be a good water play opportunity. If you click on the pictures you may get a larger view of the campers

Busy Summer

I have been busy this last month. The garden is doing well. The rabbits love my cabbage. We had a great trip to Chicago. I was able to meet two of my friends from Galesburg there for a day. I was able to try some great restaurants. Loved the Webber Grill.

Andrea got her shirt wet so she had to dry it in the hand dryer, I took the picture and she is probably going to kill me for posting it. I was able to stay in Chicago for several days and than caught a train to help Becca pack the moving truck.

The picture is a view from our room's window at the Marriott Hotel.
I really wanted to put Terry on this ship but we missed it.

The day I thought I was going to die

Terry and I went to Cedar Point with the little Morgan lambs. Did I say I really didn't enjoy amusement parks? Well I was in for a nice surprise. The big kids went on all the roller coasters and us little kids went on the merry go rounds. Ok they did get me on one roller coaster it was a kid coaster, but that was my limit.

Karist waving goodby to Marme. Marme finally said yes to the Farris wheel. Goodby Marme Hope I see you again someday.

Please God don't let me die up here.

These girls need a little more practice time. I guess Marme will have to go back and get on the bumper cars, and hit the beach with the lambs. Did I say I liked Cedar Point?

Found

Ok I go to the police station and file a missing wallet report, than the bank to file a missing bank card report, than call the credit card company and file a I lost my card report, than the library who was really nice and said no one would get out books on my card because they will change it, but oh by the way you have a five dollar fine. I go and get a new license with a picture that isn't as good as the first one for the low low price of 19.00.

Two hours later Terry gets a call at work on his cell phone. Walgreens has my wallet. Have no idea how they got his number I have to look it up when I call him. God does answer prayer. I need to learn to be on his schedule. I need to learn to keep up with my wallet.
